IDS database
The Institute of Development Studies (IDS) is a leading centre for research and teaching on international development. It contributes two databases to the ELAND service. British Library for Develoment Studies (BLDS)
BLDS is one of Europe's most comprehensive research collections on international development. It includes:
· over 1000 journals
The library covers a wide range of development issues including economics, education, environment, gender, health, politics, rural development, social development, and trade. BLDS offers a 48 hour document delivery service and provides email updates on what's new in 15 different subject areas. Further information on the library is available at: http://www.ids.ac.uk/blds
Eldis is an online gateway to information on development. It provide access to full-text documents, in-depth topic guides, country profiles, e-mail updates, job announcements and a range of other services. The Eldis database include entries for:
· over 6,000 individually reviewed documents
