The ELAND service provides four ways of finding information:

1. Quick Search - type in your own search terms, and ELAND will look for these in nine databases. The search box is available on the home page and in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.

2. Pick an Issue - choose from a selection of current hot topics in development. Available from a pull-down list on the home page, this uses a combination of search terms to focus in on the most relevant material.

3. Browse by Keyword - click here to get pre-prepared searches against 500 core development keywords, organised under 18 main subject headings.

4. Browse by Country - use this to search for material on over 150 individual countries.

Both the Browse options have Multilingual support in English, French, German and Spanish - so a search in one language picks up relevant material containing the equivalent terms in the other three languages.
